RECOMMENDEd RESTAURANTS
These are restaurants that work well for groups and will be crowd pleasers.
Salon Tropical - great for lunch or dinner.. our overall favourite for food and ambience. Spacious for groups. Excellent grilled meats and fresh seafood.
Animare (Casa Pestagua) and Alma (Casa San Agustin).. same chef has created consistently delicious food in beautiful historical surrounds.
Niku - Japanese/Peruvian with electronica music.. very scene-y but good option for pre-going out, right next door to La Movida
Harry's - another classic, beautiful courtyard with retractable roof. Bistro fare with some Colombian dishes. Great for lunch or dinner.
Carmen and Don Diablo- Innovative dining, stylish decor and great drinks. Don Diablo is in a separate space within the same building and focuses on dry-aged meat
La Vitrola - an old school icon, a classic.. martinis, checkered floors, live band, where wealthy locals go to celebrate
La Unica - Premium Mexican Grill, live music
Demente- more casual, order a bunch of wood fired pizzas and tapas, and sit on long tables in the beer garden
San Nicolas - more affordable option, for local food and big portions
