HORSERIDING
Whether you are chasing that addictive, spirit-soaring feeling of galloping horseback, or you are content just to plod along and take in the scenery, the guided horse trek is a thoroughly recommended experience.
There are a few different options depending on how much horsing about you want to do ;)
All options include return boat transport from Cartagena to Tierra Bomba island. All options include a spanish speaking guide. Helmuts and chaps are available. The activity does not include insurance so you might want to arrange that if you don’t already have travel insurance.
As part of most treks, you will cross Tierra Bomba island, covering slopes and valleys, coast and beach all the while enjoying that unequaled connection with horse and nature.
This activity is suitable for beginners and experienced riders alike (although beginners might like to opt for less time on the horse).

TIERRA BOMBA HORSE TREK
1-4 PEOPLE
OPTION 1: ISLAND CIRCUIT
250,000 pesos
includes:
12pm boat to Tierra Bomba
2 hour ride around the island and beaches, stopping for a light snack along the way.
4pm boat back to Cartagena
OPTION 2: BEACH TO BEACH
200,000 pesos (250,000 pesos with lunch)
includes:
12pm boat to Tierra Bomba
1 hour ride from one side of the island to the other
Boat back to Cartagena
* optional lunch for 50,000 pesos additional
OPTION 3: BEACH & RIDE
250,000 pesos
includes:
Boat to Tierra Bomba (choose departure time from 10am)
40 minute ride to viewpoint then time to ride along the beach and even swim with horses
Daypass at Amare beach club including lunch and 2 cocktails
Return boat to Cartagena (choose return time .. up until 6pm)
