Completely private and with one of the best restaurants in the islands, Aura Hotel Baru is a fantastic option for a beach/island day, to stay overnight in nature or as a delicious place to lunch during your private boat day.

Travel to and from the Santa Cruz dock in Cartagena to Baru via speedboat (private boat owned by the hotel which means you don't have to squeeze on to one of the crazy public lanchas and you don't have to make other stops)

Visit to Playa Azul (a very beautiful nearby beach)
Caribbean Lunch (Fish of the Day with coconut rice, patacon and house salad with non-alcoholic beverage of your choice)
Use of kayaks, sun chairs, hammocks, towel, volleyball court, freshwater showers, bathroom, bar etc

This is also a good lunch option if you're having a private boat day and looking for somewhere to stop with fixed prices and the ability to pay by card and that isn't the crazy Cholon where sometimes prices can inflate thanks to some enterprising salesmanship.
For the day pass option you will depart Aura at 3.30pm arriving to Cartagena about 4.30pm
