MOUNTAIN BIKE Tierra Bomba
This is probably one of our favourite day tour options because it allows the opportunity to combine sport, with learning about history and ancient fortifications, plus riding through green island vegetation, plus visiting a beach club and eating delicious food, and swimming in the ocean/pool to cool off, plus a boat ride. Yay! We also love love the tour leaders Charlie and Val. Operated by Bomba Bike, they have done a great job of summarizing the tour in the following comprehensive flyer.. so we figured we'd just paste it below and let them explain the tour in their own words. WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW:
• WARNING: The Tierra Bomba Tour is for SPORTY PEOPLE! It consists of trails and hills, that’s why we use mountain bikes with good suspensions and a good gear system... So if you don’t know how to ride a bike or if you are looking for a casual “promenade”, better not book with us. If you like sport, want to sweat, but are not familiar with mountain bike and gears, don’t worry, we will teach you
• Not recommended for people with health conditions
• Dress code: sneaker shoes, long sleeves shirt, sport pants or shorts, sunglasses, sunscreen. A small backpack will be provided to you
• Booking is needed. Minimum 2 people
• Tours subject to weather (unfortunately when it rains the trails get too muddy and bike rides become impossible for several days...)
• If you have your OWN mountain bike, GREAT!!
You won’t pay the full price: The discounted price will be “Sport & Lunch” = 65 USD and “Relax” = 55 USD
• If you’d like to start the tour somewhere else or if you want to make your tour private, let us know. It might generate an additional cost though
